You're sorely mistaken, the band was not as professional as Major Major, they did not have such luxuries as "recorded songs" or "a name"

yes that would really help. but we were only a university covers band, and i really wanna find a proper band.

Why don't you see if there's any ads in the NME classifieds for guitarists? Or find a Liverpool-based equivalent. There must be tons of bands out there looking for members.
