Wall-E: A brilliant film, one of the best Pixar moving pictures

Dark Knight: Excellent but had some annoying moments. Heath Ledger was fantastic and deserves all that praise, regardless of his current situation

Saw Tropic Thunder last week. It was actually quite funny for most of the film but not sure if it's worth getting the DVD. Some very nice cameos.

Also, Robert Downey Jn is hot.

So is Ben Stiller.

Quantum of Solace

Really, really enjoyed it, great chases, really dark storyline which more or less finished off the story from Casino Royale, whilst being a completely different type of film.  From this Daniel Craig is now my favourite Bond, does the job extremely well! (just ahead of Tim Dalton)

10/10 from me

i didnt think it was 10/10 at all. i thought it was bland and i kind of think we have bourne for this we have bond for something else.
as a film it was good action good action good action. plotline was a bit off and it felt quite obvious. the line about the generators in the hotell was a rediculous set up.
also ive never been to a film with 5 other people and all walked out with bugger all to say.

Haha that was bizarre, no matter how hard I tried I couldn't think of anything but "was alright that"

I loved the action, especially the rooftop chase which was done excellently, and all the locations obviously looked fantastic. It was just a bit forgettable really and I honestly don't have a clue why Gemma Arterton was even talked about. She was in it for precisely eighteen seconds.

The Spirit,

don't bother, it's nowhere near the likes of 300 or Sin City.

i used to read the spirit comics when i was wee nipper. he was everything a boy could want to be: a quick-witted, hard-hitting, alcoholic womaniser. plus he had no real super powers which meant you could actually grow up to be just like him.

i'll see the film but i know i won't enjoy it.
