Natural born killers would win you back round, as well as listening to a bit of juliette and the licks whilst watching porn
Have you noticed recently you cant release a mainstream movie without a parody to match. i.e Meet the spartans, Epic movie, and soon a spoof on superhereo movies, im sure its called Superheroe Movie but look out for it anyway, its the only one that looks good.
Make sure you look out for Tropic Thunder out this year, it looks brilliant!!!

according to mark kermode it changes the face of filmic story arc as you have no idea where the fim is going half way through. i kind of agree with that as i still dont know if lewis was a good guy or not. i think thats a good thing.
i may have to watch it again. |
I think Liam was confused about the french subtitles more than anything! |

the noose is not enough.
if you want to feel pain, and i mean really FEEL it, go see meet the spartans. i'm usually a sucker for shitty american comedies but this was far beyond my usual shit threshold. i sat through big moma's house 2 savouring every martin lawrence minute, i masturbated in the back row to music and lyrics and i actually own you, me and dupree. this, however, was utterly insipid even by those standards. there was absolutely nothing good about it. although i guess i knew that before i went to see it. worse than date movie.

IRON MAN
Gud
- Makes you want a flying doom suit
- Robert Downey Jr is great and without him the film would be forgettable
- Gets Black Sabbath stuck in your head
Bad
- Both his rough prototype suit and the one the baddie uses are better than his hero one
- It's yellow and red! Those colours only work on surfboards
- Gets Black Sabbath stuck in your head
7/10

| If I ever made a superhero film, I'd drop heaps of massive clues to a sequel...and then not make one- just for the hell of it |

iron man was poo but it will seem as good as jurassic park when i go to see forgetting sarah marshall later. or speed racer. either way.
i feel i should have some sort of childhood affinity with speed racer or is this just because of the t-shirt in pulp fiction??? _________________

why are you going to see all these shit films? I am guessing there is a girlfriend choosing the films to watch or you have an obsessive compulsion to popcorn?! _________________ Neil is wondering why he has woken up to find he is being drawn naked by a group of sixth form students!

speed racer was awful. the whole thing was like an LSD abortion. worse still, john goodman gets to do bulletspeed fighting. i don't remember speed racer on british tv at all but if it was anything like this movie it should come with an epilepsy warning. but i do remember the iron man cartoon and how crap the mandarin was as a nemesis.
usually i love watching shitty films but lately they've just been abysmal. i pine for the days of big momma's house 2 and wild hogs. it seems all hope for mainstream cinema lies with the dark knight. _________________

I still want to see Speed Racer though: I demand that all my sense get bombarded at once with epilepsy-inducing sporadic flashing everythings.

Saw indiana Jones 4 last week.
Great entertaining film, and full of action. A little slow to start, but it picked up. Ending I didnt expect. But nonetheless a great film.

Watched St Trinians on Thursday. Film was ok, plot ok, reasonably funny. Loadsa great references to colin firth films which were very funny. Russell Brand was good, but not really in it enough which was a bit disappointing. Russell Brand, Gemma Arterton and Rupert Everett were the standout performances.
decent film, but could have been a lot better methinks 6/10
