This Is Seb Clarke
Eleven-piece ensemble, This Is Seb Clarke have been described as a cross between The Clash and the early soul of Ike & Tina Turner. You can’t imagine many bands in Stoke-on-Trent sounding like this. Mixing rock and roll, soul and trad jazz, Clarke’s vocals are a cross between Joe Strummer and Ralph McTell but the main focus is on the five-piece brass section. This is a group you really need to see live as the recording only hints at the power they create on stage. The band will release their debut album ‘Rover’ independently on 21st March 2005.
