they're still pretty good for a 50mm, I have something similar; a Canon IS 58mm, don't ever let anyone say size doesnt matter |

a 58 mm would be harder for gigs though as if the subject gets close you cant focus on them, reccomend a 30mm for small venues (y)

Yeah well that depends on what the camera is like in terms of image stabiliser and auto-focus but a smaller lense would be better in close range. |

the 350d is wank tho so a 30mm would be better- but yeah it really does depend on how the camera handles
however i now have the new sigma sd14 14mp of joy anti shake anti everything bad, anti jesus its brilliant |
