New EP..quick little update. We were in the studio today and all ready to finish off tomorrow!! Sounding ace I will have you know and they arent even mixed yet!!  Vocals arent done but music is boss! Pressure is on Conor mainly now, hehe, although done most of vocals for Newspapers and Magazines in the last half hour of today and yet again the word is ACE!!

It's all done now! Oh it's the best EP you'll ever hear! All four songs sound great. I have a favourite but I'm not telling what it is. Please please come to the CD launch next Saturday where you can get a copy and also find out what it is called.
Sorry if this post is a bit wierd, but I'm still on a high from the studio (damn those drugs! Cant make a CD without them though)

I think I am right in saying that all of Major Major are proud of this new EP. It sounds ace and if anyone says otherwise..then they obviously have some sort of hearing impairment!

I hate it when people say"Of course they're only complaining about other artists because they have a new album coming out soon and it raises awareness" (eg- Oasis, Lilly Allen, Razorlight etc)
While this is certainly true, it's also because they are being interviewed more, they aren't just walking down the street insulting people, to use a totally non-musical example it's like saying "Every time I ask him about anti-cake he says he likes it! Why does he keep talking about anti-cake when I ask him about anti-cake?"

True but they don't say they like anti-cake, they say they hate anti-cake and then go and say how anti-cake is defunct and not very exciting (which in most cases is pot calling kettle black).
It's more like:
Interviewer - what do you think about anti-cake?
Band - anti-cake fucking sucks man! And not only that but so does quiche, cake and fucking pasty, they're all shit compared to us!

new ep is great. sounds very professional.
The fixer is great, sounds like the live version
backing vox on hangman at the start are very impressive
Start of newspapers and magazines sounds like old brown shoe, but the rest doesnt, great song though, id only heard that once before.
new version of espadrilles is brilliant, a lot cleaner, and can hear all the verses now, and i still love the solo in it
overall its excellent, good job!

yeah, i really like the new ep. my favourite it hangman, closely followed by the fixer. i like the variations in the vocals on these songs. Hangman has some catchy bits as well.
The new espadrilles is good too - i agree with louis; cleaner soundin. avin the acoustic at the start with conors vocals is good - makes for a better contrast when everythin else kicks in

I guess Hangman is my favourite at the mo, for the vocals at the start but I think the Fixer is the song that will get the most interest from new listeners, it's just so catchy and has great lyrics, everyone knows someone like the Fixer!

I think Newspapers & Magazines is my favourite. I am well proud of the lyrics in it the end sounds boss. It reminds me of standing next to a rollercoaster as it whizzes by
