HAHAHA. i just checked out that song on napster. i remember getting it played to me. i laughed because the samples in it are off the "DJ suite" on my very keyboard! so fucking cheesy. if i get time il use em later and show how easy it must have been to make that song!!

The whole "new rave" thing reminds me of that Futurama episode where they go to a club where everyone wears rings:
Fry: Why is everyone wearing those rings?
Amy: Guh! Because nobody wears 'em anymore. Rings are stupid.

Amy: Shhh, don't let anyone hear you say that.

It's like listening to shit music because it's cool for things to be shit if you know they're shit (see also: The Hoff, Snakes On A Plane). But at the end of the day, it's still shit.

Haha yeah. Plus "new rave" was supposed to be leftfield, orbital and chemical brothers, this was 10 years ago. People at NME ran out of names for music, in 2008 we'll see the "new romantic" scene come to life!

at leat with nu-metal it sounds different to old metal......well.....ok then it doesnt. But think about it, we're on what "3rd" wave of punk? new rave? nu metal? I feel there is a gap for a new genre of music. Major Major need to exploit this!
