Ellesmere Port Gig and Mini Bus Trip!!yo!! As we have a gig on 12th April in the Old Red Lion Pub and it is a battle of the bands, we would love to take our army of fans with us!!so if you are interested on coming on this minibus trip let me know asap!would be good to see you there, hopefully we can organise and pull this off!! |

That pub is apparently "0 miles (0km)" away from Little Sutton Railway station so it might be easier to just get the wirral line train from central to there? (it takes half an hour and they are every 15 minutes until about 8pm at which point they become every 30 mins with the last one leaving at 11:45) | ||

Whether minibus or coach I'm all for it, count me in.
But what time do the trains stop? Because if the gig goes on late (as they often do) we don't want to be stranded in Ellesmere Port and forced to work down the soap mines to buy our way back to Liverpool |

Its a good thing you asked this question cuz it made me double-check it! The last train to liverpool central from the station by the gig leaves at 23:08! Which may indeed be a problem depending on when major major play!? |

I think a mini bus would be the better option because that way you won't need to worry about Train times. Although i don't think that it will go on any later than 10pm ish | ||

It depends really... a minibus is better if you can get one reasonabley cheaply and get a driver and have almost exactly the right number of people going... but the train option is much easiler! lol | ||

hello all!!
The reason I thought of the minibus idea was simply beacause I didnt give yas any credit and thought yas would be too lazy to go booking any trains. The plus side to the train is it is gonna be cheaper for yas (and us hehe). But let the discussion go on, and we will sort something out! |

Haha its not like the kind of train u have to book in advance! You just walk into central and say "return to little sutton" or press a few buttons on the machine and then u get a ticket and get on the train! |

But if we do the Mines, bagsy sitting in the front bit because if you're behind you get your elbows smashed in by inferior rollercoaster workmanship. The Spaceshot is crap, all it does is make your sphincter the size of a grain of sand and make you feel vaguely ripped off. You forgot the House Of Fun/Pain! Where it's so dark that you often just walk straight into walls or fall down badly-lit staircases. It's fun for the whole family and their accident claims lawyer! |

Right the gig is at 8 ish so if people people want to meet in central station at 7.15 then that would probably be easiest! We can all get the wirral line train from central to Little Sutton (which I am lead to believe is right by the gig.)
Err... for the people who don't know me I look like this man and will hopefully be wearing clothes. But more seriously pm me for my mobile number if you want it. Hopefully I'll see you all at central! |
